500,000 Pakistanis flee crackdown on Taliban

An aid organisation in Pakistan has expressed concern over the harsh conditions faced by residents fleeing a military offensive in the country's north-west.

The Pakistani army has launched a new offensive in the North Waziristan region considered a key Taliban stronghold.

Haseeb Khalid is from the agency Islamic Relief in Pakistan.

He's told Zara Zaher more than half a million people have evacuated to escape the unrest.
