70-year-old man's body found on SA beach

Police say the death of a 70-year-old man, whose body was found washed up on a South Australian beach, is not suspicious.

Police have identified the body of a 70-year-old man found on a beach about 60km south of Adelaide.

The body was found by a beachgoer in Carrickalinga, on the Fleurieu Peninsula, just after 10am on Tuesday.

Police say the death is not suspicious and a report will be prepared for the State Coroner.
