A compensation scheme for the Stolen Generations has edged closer in South Australia - seven years after a landmark court case to recompense an Aboriginal person for wrongful removal from his family.
A Stolen Generations Compensation Bill put forward by the Liberal Party has passed the upper house of the state's parliament - but now depends on the support of the Labor government to become a reality.
