Abbott arrives home to face debate in Parliament

Prime Minister Tony Abbott has touched down in Canberra following his four-nation trip.

Mr Abbott met with leaders in Indonesia, France, Canada and the United States during his travels, which he said focussed on trade, jobs and security.

He returns to the start of another sitting week featuring scheduled debate on a number of budget measures, including the temporary deficit levy on high income earners.

A number of other issues are listed for debate today, including paid parental leave and energy efficiency.
