Abbott arrives in PNG for Pacific talks

Prime Minister Tony Abbott has arrived in Port Moresby for contentious talks with Pacific island leaders on climate change.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott has touched down in Port Moresby for a whirlwind visit to chat with Pacific island leaders on the frontline of global warming.

Mr Abbott is the last of 16 leaders to arrive in the PNG capital for the annual Pacific Islands Forum.

Climate change is expected to dominate discussions at a special retreat on Thursday.
