Prime Minister Tony Abbott has dismissed media reports of cabinet leaks as insider gossip.

Immigration Minister Peter Dutton and Small Business Minister Bruce Billson say ministers who leak should be sacked.

"I'm just not going to get drawn into any insider gossip at all today," Mr Abbott told reporters in Canberra on Tuesday.
