The prime minister has urged Queensland, and other states, to remain tough on bikie gangs as the state government considers winding back controversial anti-association laws.
Prime Minister Tony Abbott had some advice for the Queensland Labor government on Sunday as he announced a national campaign to tackle the ice scourge.
Asked what he would say to the government of Annastacia Palaszczuk about its bikie law review, Mr Abbott urged all his state counterparts to be "strong and vigilant" when it comes to criminal gangs.
"These bikie gangs are at the very heart of crime in this country and it's important that we crack down on them," he said.
