ABC to reinstate livestock reports

New ABC Managing Director Michelle Guthrie says the broadcaster will reinstate livestock reports following feedback from farming groups.

The ABC will bring back its livestock reports following consultation with peak farming bodies.

The broadcaster agreed to monitor audience feedback after it dropped livestock market reports from regional breakfast programs.

"As a result of this further consultation, ABC regional will move to reinstate livestock reports in those areas where there has been strong audience demand," new Managing Director Michelle Guthrie told a Senate estimates hearing on Thursday.
