A former Hungarian policeman, indicted for war crimes during the Holocaust, has died in Budapest at the age of 98.
Laszlo Csatary was to have faced charges of cruelty to Jews and with aiding their deportation to Nazi death camps.
The Simon Wiesenthal Centre revealed his whereabouts in Hungary last year and says it regrets Csatary died before he could be tried.
