ACT Muslim leaders 'left out' of counter-terror consultations

Muslim community leaders in the ACT say they've been left out of federal government's consultations over its proposed counter terrorism laws.

Muslim community leaders in the Australian Capital Territory say they've been left out of federal government's consultations over its proposed counter-terrorism laws.

The government has held several consultation sessions so far with Muslim community leaders in Sydney and Melbourne.

But President of Australian Muslim Voice, Diana Abdel-Rahman, says the ACT Muslim community hasn't been consulted.

She's told Marina Freri community leaders in the territory want the Government to listen to what they have to say.
