Action taken against WA greyhound trainer

WA greyhound trainer Anthony Glenny has been suspended until an inquiry into his conduct is completed.

A Western Australian Greyhound Racing Association board member has been suspended for refusing to answer questions about his Bakers Hill training facility.

Anthony Glenny allegedly refused to answer Racing and Wagering WA stewards questions after an inspection of the facility on Sunday.

"There is no suggestion Mr Glenny was conducting any illegal training practices at his facility," racing and gaming minister Colin Holt said on Thursday.

"However, Mr Glenny's decision not to co-operate with stewards on Sunday has led RWWA to call a formal inquiry requiring his attendance."

All licences and authorities held by Mr Glenny will be suspended pending the outcome of the inquiry on May 18.
