Actor Will Arnett still plays with Lego

Will Arnett, who voices one of the characters in the hit Lego movie, admits he still plays with the colourful building blocks.

US actor Will Arnett says he still has a Lego habit.

The 43-year-old actor is currently voicing one of the characters in the big-screen adaption of the childhood toy.

In The Lego Movie, made at Australian digital effects studio Animal Logic, Arnett stars as Batman. The film has prompted the actor to admit to his own Lego behaviour.

"I do," he laughed when British newspaper Metro asked if he still had a Leo habit.

"My friend Wade and I do Lego war stories. At Christmas, we were both inundated with Lego."

Arnett also confesses that his love for Lego hindered his chances with girls when he was growing up.

Although he tried to pass off his passion as "helping" his brother, Will says he's always been a fan of the miniature building blocks.

"When I was a kid I was really, really into Lego, then I took a small break. I had a much younger brother so I was able to continue with my Lego under the guise of helping him," he said.

Other famous faces who lend their voices to the animated film include Elizabeth Banks, Will Ferrell, Morgan Freeman and Jonah Hill.
