Adelaide man charged over $2.3m theft

An Adelaide man faces 48 counts of theft worth more than $2.3 million.

A 55-year-old Adelaide man has been charged with 48 counts of theft worth more than $2.3 million.

The man was arrested on Tuesday with police alleging he unlawfully accessed funds between 2008 and 2012 while in a position of trust.

He has also been charged with seven counts of dishonestly dealing with documents and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on September 4.
