The death of a woman in Adelaide's Parklands is now not being treated as suspicious, police say.

The death of a woman whose body was found in a central Adelaide park is not deemed suspicious, police say.

Eastern Adelaide police say the body was found just before 8am on Sunday by a member of the public in the South Parklands and the death was initially treated as suspicious.

The dead woman has now been identified as a 38-year-old of no fixed address and police say her death is not being treated as suspicious.

However, police say they are still investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
