AFL to have whistleblower service

AFL players and officials can give anonymous tips about integrity concerns with the introduction of an online service.

The AFL has introduced an online whistleblower service for players and officials who want to tip off the league about integrity worries.

The league has told clubs of the integrity net program, which is about to start.

The anonymous service will cover concerns such as anti-doping, gambling, corruption and the salary cap.

The AFL has ramped up its integrity department in the wake of several controversies, in particular the ongoing Essendon supplements scandal.
