Richmond forward Tyrone Vickery has been cleared of any major damage after injuring a knee in a VFL practice match.

Vickery, 24, raised concerns he may be set for an extended period on the sidelines when he hobbled from the ground during Saturday's game against Essendon and didn't return.

The club said on Monday that scans had cleared Vickery of any structural damage, but that swelling and soreness around the knee would rule him out for one week.

In other Richmond injury news, midfielder Reece Conca will miss one more week as he recovers from a hamstring strain, but Nathan Foley has been cleared to play in a VFL practice match this Saturday after overcoming a foot injury.
