AFLW final to start earlier for Lions fans

The AFL has moved forward the women's grand final by half an hour so Brisbane fans can watch their men's team play as well.

The AFLW grand final will start half an hour early on Saturday so Brisbane fans can double up on their matches.

Their Ikon Park premiership decider against the Western Bulldogs will now start at 12.35pm (AEDT).

That will help Lions fans travel to Etihad Stadium in time for the round-one men's match against St Kilda.
