An anonymous whistleblowing website has been launched with the aim of exposing allegedly corrupt politicians and business people in Africa, as well as militant groups.
AfriLeaks is a partnership between newspapers and activist groups that wants to make it easier and safer for people to anonymously provide sensitive information directly to media organisations.
About 19 organisations are part of the website, and South Africa's Mail and Guardian newspaper is one of them.
Phillip de Wet is the paper's Associate Editor and he's told Santilla Chingaipe how the website will work.
