Ageing Vic medical gear replaced

A $35 million fund is now available to replace ageing medical equipment in Victorian hospitals.

Ageing life-saving medical equipment in 20 Victorian hospitals will be replaced through a $35 million fund.

Obsolete IT equipment will also be replaced in hospitals with $10 million in new funding.

"We're investing in our hospitals to give them the tools and equipment they need to save lives and provide the very best patient care," Health Minister Jill Hennessy said on Wednesday.
