Airport transfer with dog sleds in Norway

A new service at Kirkenes airport in northern Norway is offering a dog taxi to transfer guests from the airport to the Kirkenes Snowhotel.

Man's best friend in a different role: a new service at Kirkenes airport in northern Norway is offering a dog taxi to transfer guests from the airport to the Kirkenes Snowhotel.

The dog sled also transports the guests' luggage. The trip takes about 45 minutes. About 120 dogs are at the airport ready to transport visitors.

The dog taxi service is not cheap though, as the transfer costs about 270 euros ($A410.59).
