Alan Jones back behind radio microphone

Radio breakfast king Alan Jones is finally back at work after injury forced him off the air since mid-November.

Veteran radio announcer Alan Jones is back on the air after a neck injury forced him to take a four-month break.

Jones, 75, initially went on leave in mid-November for back surgery but then had to undergo several neck operations.

"I'm okay to be on air," he told his 2GB and 4BC audiences on Monday, although he said he was not yet fully recovered.
