International aid group, CARE Australia, has warned that a food crisis in Africa's Sahel region has left 20 million lives at risk.

 

Mali, Chad, South Sudan and Cameroon are experiencing conditions similar to the food crisis in 2011 and 2012.

 

CARE Australia's CEO, Dr. Julia Newton-Howe, spoke with Adeshola Ore about the causes of the current food crisis.
