A trio of alleged Mongols bikie gang members will face a trial in June under Queensland's controversial anti-association laws.
Bradley Maurice Baker, James William Cleave and Leslie Andrew Markham will face a joint trial for three days from June 16 after a brief mention at Southport Magistrates Court on Friday.
The three men were arrested in November, the first people to be apprehended under the state government's laws which ban criminal organisation participants from meeting with two or more other criminal organisation participants in a public place.
The trio are believed to have been checking into the luxury Palazzo Versace hotel, Main Beach, at the same time when they were arrested.
Baker, from Western Australia, and Markham intend to apply for bail in Brisbane next week while Cleave has already been granted bail.
