Allwood and Ikahihifo back for Warriors

The Warriors have brought back Matt Allwood and Sebastine Ikahihifo for their NRL match against Wests Tigers in Sydney.

Outside back Matt Allwood and forward Sebastine Ikahihifo have been recalled among three changes to the Warriors' starting 13 to face Wests Tigers in Sydney.

Allwood comes on to the wing in place of Ken Maumalo and will make just his second NRL appearance of the season on Sunday.

Ikahihifo, whose starting position is normally lock, will go to prop for the injured Jacob Lillyman, who suffered a season-ending fractured cheek in the first hit-up of the 50-16 defeat to North Queensland last weekend.

Lillyman's unavailability has left the Warriors without their two frontline props, with Ben Matulino still suspended.

The other change to the starting side is the addition of second rower Bodene Thompson, who made his return from injury off the bench against the Cowboys.

Thompson's inclusion restores his back-row combination with Ryan Hoffman and skipper Simon Mannering and means Sione Lousi moves to the reserves.

Coach Andrew McFadden has also retained the youthful halves combination of Tuimoala Lolohea and Mason Lino.

Lolohea has taken over the No.7 jersey for the past four matches since star halfback Shaun Johnson suffered a serious ankle injury.

Lino made his first-grade debut against the Cowboys as a late call-up for the unwell Chad Townsend.

After six losses in a row, the 10th-placed Warriors are desperate to get back to winning ways against the competition's bottom club.

Warriors: Sam Tomkins, Matt Allwood, Dominique Peyroux, Solomone Kata, Jonathan Wright, Mason Lino, Tuimoala Lolohea, Sebastine Ikahihifo, Nathan Friend, Albert Vete, Bodene Thompson, Ryan Hoffman, Simon Mannering (capt). Res: Konrad Hurrell, Sione Louis, Charlie Gubb, Sam Lisone.
