American Anderson wins women's slopestyle gold

ROSA KHUTOR, Russia (Reuters) - Jamie Anderson of the United States won the first Olympic gold medal in women's snowboarding slopestyle at the Sochi Games on Sunday.

Enni Rukajarvi of Finland won silver, while Jenny Jones took the bronze to give Britain a first Olympic medal in a snow event.
