US actor Jason Biggs has become a father for the first time after his wife Jenny Mollen gave birth to a baby boy on Saturday.
Mollen announced the baby news on Instagram on Tuesday after posting a series of videos documenting the birth.
"February 15th, 2014 5:00 pm babybiggs."
Biggs, best known for his role in the hit `90s comedy American Pie, and Mollen wed in 2008. They announced the pregnancy in July 2013.
Late last year Biggs told host Conan O'Brien that he was concerned the baby's birth might interfere with his Super Bowl plans.
"The Super Bowl is in New Jersey this year, it's right where I grew up and I'm on the host committee ... I don't know what the hell that means but I know that it comes with two tickets to the Super Bowl.
"Obviously I'll still love the kid whenever it's born... I hope he's not an asshole and is born right before the Super Bowl," Biggs said.
