Amphlett lane declared open in Melbourne

The late Chrissy Amphlett officially has a Melbourne lane named in her honour.

The late Chrissy Amphlett officially has a Melbourne lane named in her honour.

Amphlett Lane, is between Harwood Place and Spring Street off Little Bourke Street, just behind the Princess Theatre.

The Divinyls rocker died in April 2013 after a long battle with breast cancer.

Amphlett's husband Charley Drayton as well as her cousin Patricia Amphlett better known as Little Patti, attended Wednesday's unveiling of the street sign.
