Fringe Socceroo Dario Vidosic has praised a family-like atmosphere fostered by new coach Ange Postecoglou.
And Vidosic says Postecoglou's desire for an attractive game style has released the shackles on the Socceroos.
"We're all good footballers ... enjoy it," Vidosic told reporters on Saturday of Postecoglou's main message.
"Get it into the attacking third, keep possession - it's very similar if you look at his old teams, Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory.
"We will try and adopt a very similar style of play and keep the ball, keep possession, very attractive football - and score goals, which is the most important thing."
The attacking midfielder, now with Swiss club FC Sion, said the Socceroos' training camp ahead of Tuesday night's friendly against Costa Rica was enjoyable.
"It's like a family together," he said.
"We're joking away from the field, there is always a lot of laughs.
"But once we come out on the pitch, it's business and Ange wants us to do the best we can and train as hard as we can and give everything to the cause.
"Always when a new coach comes in there is new ideas and ways of playing. And we're all very eager, we want to learn, we want to become better as a team and as individuals."
