Former Two And A Half Men star Angus T Jones has attacked the US comedy, saying it was difficult for him to be part of a TV show that made light of real problems.
The grown-up child star upset producers and creator Chuck Lorre last year when he called the comedy "filth" and urged fans to stop watching it.
Jones later apologised for his remarks, which had been made in a video he filmed for a religious group to which he was attached.
Jones was axed as a regular on the show and has yet to appear in any episodes this season.
Now studying in Colorado, the Christian actor has taken aim again at Two And A Half Men, this time in an interview with the KHOU television network in Houston, Texas.
Sporting a thick beard, Jones says, "I was a paid hypocrite."
The TV interview came about as part of Jones's trip to the World Harvest Outreach Church in Houston, where he is spoke about his faith as a Seventh-Day Adventist.
Jones told a KHOU reporter that although he didn't enjoy his final months on the show, he feels bad for openly criticising creator Lorre.
"I just totally insulted his baby and, to that degree, I am apologetic, but otherwise I don't regret saying what I said."
* Two And A Half Men is shown in Australia on the Nine Network.
