Anonymous tip-off leads to stabbed man

A 39-year-old man is being treated in Royal Perth Hospital after being stabbed several times in the northern suburbs.

An anonymous caller tipped off paramedics to a man with multiple stab wounds on a roadside in Perth's northern suburbs.

St John Ambulance received an anonymous tip-off from a pay phone at around 1.30am on Thursday about a wounded man on Ocean Reef Road in Wangara.

The 39-year-old man is being treated in Royal Perth Hospital and his injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
