Ansell appoints new deputy chairman

Ansell Limited appoints independent non-executive director John Bevan as its deputy chairman, and shuffles the chairs of the companies committees.

Protective glove and condom maker Ansell has appointed independent non-executive director John Bevan as its deputy chairman.

Mr Bevan, who joined the company since August 2012, has extensive experience with industrial gas multinational BOC Group, mining company Alumina Limited and steel producer BlueScope Steel, Ansell said in a statement on Friday.

Ansell has also rotated the chairs and members of the board committee, appointing Marissa Peterson as chair of the human resources committee and Ronald Bell as chair of the risk committee.
