Anti-bully squad deployed to Vic hospitals

Victorian hospitals will get an independent anti-bullying squad to crack down on a culture of bullying within the health system.

Anti-bullying experts will be sent to Victoria's hospitals to stop bullying and harassment in the health system.

A recent report found a culture of bullying had taken hold in Victoria's health system, and Health Minister Jill Hennessy said independent experts would identify and crack down on health services with elevated rates of harassment.

"We are determined to ensure the insidious, unacceptable and unlawful nature of workplace bullying will become a thing of the past in our hospitals," Ms Hennessy said on Wednesday.
