ANU to go smoke free

The Australian National University has signalled the end of the smoko, saying students and staff wanting a cigarette will have to leave the campus.

Students and staff at the Australian National University will soon have to leave campuses for a cigarette break.

The university announced on World No Tobacco Day, it was going smoke-free from July 20 at its Canberra campus, Mt Stromlo Observatory and Kioloa campus near Batemans Bay.

The institution will help students and staff with free quit smoking courses.
