Anyone for Venice?

You'd think the world's oldest celebration of cinema would've done it all by now, but for the first time ever the Venice Film Festival will be screening nothing but world premiers when it begins later this month.

Among those appearing in this year's 22 screen gems are Al Pacino, Madonna, and George Clooney... as directors.

No word on whether Leonardo DiCaprio will make an appearance. Chances are he'll still be counting his money after Forbes named him Hollywood's highest earning star.

Also, Police Academy fans are mourning the death of a gentle giant, while tragedy in Norway reignites an old debate.
