ANZ appoints Michelle Jablko as CFO

ANZ has appointed Michelle Jablko as chief financial officer, also giving her responsibility for treasury, mergers and acquisitions and investor relations.

ANZ has appointed Michelle Jablko as chief financial officer, filling the role that until January was occupied by current chief executive Shayne Elliott.

Ms Jablko, a former lawyer who is currently managing director and co-head for Australia at investment bank Greenhill and Co, will start as ANZ's CFO in mid-July and also have responsibility for ANZ treasury, mergers and acquisitions and investor relations.

"She is strongly qualified to lead what is a broad strategic, financial and business role at the bank," Mr Elliott said in a statement.
