Appeal for Qld raceway crash footage

Police are asking riders or spectators who saw a fatal motorbike accident at a raceway north of Brisbane on the weekend to come forward.

Anyone who filmed or photographed a fatal motorbike accident at a Queensland raceway is being urged to contact police.

A male rider, aged 46, was killed and another man, 51, was injured in the crash at the Lakeside International Raceway.

Police say two motorbikes collided on the track at Kurwongbah, north of Brisbane, about 3pm on Sunday.

Officers are appealing for any riders or spectators who may have filmed or photographed the accident to contact police.

The dead man was from Orange in NSW, the injured man is from Goodna, near Ipswich.
