Aron Baynes is staying with the Boston Celtics.

The Australian centre has agreed to a two-year, $US11 million NBA deal with the Celtics.

The Queenslander, who entered the NBA in 2013 and had stints at the San Antonio Spurs and Detroit Pistons, was a key part of the Celtics' recent run to the Eastern Conference finals and quickly agreed to terms when free agency opened on Sunday.
