North Melbourne speedster Shaun Atley has submitted an early guilty plea and been fined $1000 for striking Brisbane's Pearce Hanley in their-round two AFL clash.

The tribunal will not be required to sit on Tuesday night as all seven players reported over the weekend took early guilty pleas and resultant $1000 fines.

St Kilda's Jack Newnes was booked for engaging in rough conduct against Bulldog Luke Dahlhaus and Sydney trio Lance Franklin, Luke Parker and Dan Hannebery and Carlton's Sam Rowe and Zach Tuohy were sanctioned for their roles in a halftime melee.
