A man has been charged with attempted murder after another man was shot in the arm while sitting in his car in far north Queensland.
Police say the injured man, 31, was shot at from a neighbouring property in the Cairns suburb of Manoora on Sunday night.
He was taken to hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
A Cairns man, 63, has been charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon while under the influence and three other related charges.
He will appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police say the two men knew each other.
