Australia will face an inexperienced XI in their only tour match before a two-Test series against West Indies starts on June 3.
The West Indies Cricket Board has named a squad for the three-day game in Antigua that begins on May 27, with captain Leon Johnson the only player with Test experience.
Johnson didn't take part in the West Indies' recent drawn series against England, but has 275 Test runs to his name at an average of 39.28.
Miguel Cummins, Carlos Brathwaite and Jason Mohammed are the only other players in the youthful President's XI squad to have represented West Indies, but the trio are yet to make Test debuts.
Michael Clarke, who has been training in Brisbane recently with other Australian-based players to prepare for trips to the Caribbean and UK, will fly out of Sydney on Sunday.
Other members of Australia's 16-man squad are due to depart over the next week from around the world.
Those currently in the subcontinent, headlined by gun batsman Steve Smith, will leave when their Indian Premier League campaign ends.
Peter Siddle is already en route, having managed to sneak in an NBA playoff game in Memphis after leaving county side Lancashire.
WICB President's XI squad: Leon Johnson (capt), Carlos Brathwaite, Sharmarh Brooks, Rajindra Chandrika, Roston Chase, Miguel Cummins, Jason Dawes, Shane Dowrich, Imran Khan, Marquino Mindley, Jason Mohammed, Tyrone Theophile, Jomel Warrican.
