Former Central Coast Mariner Trent Sainsbury enjoyed a win against two of his compatriots on debut for PEC Zwolle in the Dutch top-flight.
The 22-year-old played 72 minutes in Thursday night's come-from-behind 2-1 victory over FC Utrecht at the Stadion Galgenwaard.
The victory pushed Zwolle up to eighth on the Eredivisie ladder.
"First game and 3pts :)" a happy Sainsbury tweeted post-match.
But it was not all smiles, with the aspiring Socceroo injurying his knee after apparently falling on a sprinkler head on the pitch.
"Once nerves settled I started to relax n enjoy it. Knee is sore, hopefully given all clear tomorrow #feelingthelove" he added.
The match saw Sainsbury, who last week joined the club from the Mariners on a two-and-a-half season deal, pitted against fellow Australians Tommy Oar and Adam Sarota - both of whom play for FC Utrecht.
Socceroos midfielder Sarota was sent off in the 58th minute for a poor challenge on Guyon Fernandez, while Oar played a full game.
Zwolle next face ladder-leaders Ajax on Sunday, while Utrecht line up against RKC Waalwijk.
