Australian canoeist Jessica Fox has won her third women's C1 gold medal from four starts at this year's World Cup series with victory in Tacen, Slovenia on Saturday.
The 19 year old Penrith paddler dominated her semi-final earlier in the day before proving a class above her opposition winning the final in 132.69 despite a four second time penalty for two gate touches.
Fox finished 2.35 seconds ahead of British canoeist Mallory Franklin.
Czech paddler Monika Jancova edged NSWIS gun Rosalyn Lawrence to the bronze medal by 1.51 seconds, with a two second penalty for a gate touch costing Lawrence a place on the podium.
Fox will be hoping her excellent C1 form transpires into a strong showing in the women's K1 semi-final on Sunday with the Australian still searching for her first podium finish in the same event she won silver in at last year's Olympic Games.
In the men's K1 final on Saturday two-time world champion and local favourite Peter Kauzer won gold in the only sub 100 time of 99.87, with German star Fabian Doerfler 3.04 seconds behind ahead of countrymen Hannes Aigner in third.
Meanwhile the host nation also dominated the men's C1 final with Anze Bercic winning the gold in 108.28, 1.28 seconds ahead of German Franz Anton, with Croatian Matija Marinic coming in third 0.38 seconds further back.
