Aussie Delaney to see out career at Leeds

Former NRL forward Brett Delaney has signed a new five-year deal with Super League club Leeds.

Leeds' Australian forward Brett Delaney will see out the rest of his rugby league career at Headingley after ending speculation over his future.

The 28-year-old centre turned second-rower has signed a new five-year contract, keeping him at Rhinos until the end of 2018.

The deal, which replaces his previous contract which had two years left to run, is the longest of any senior player at Leeds.

Delaney, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury, has made 109 appearances since joining Leeds from Gold Coast Titans in 2010.
