Australian Rohan Dennis' time trial strength has boosted his overall lead in the USA Pro Challenge cycling race.
He dominated stage five, a 13.5km time trial in Breckenridge, Colorado, and won by 27 seconds.
It means he leads American BMC teammate Brent Bookwalter by 44 seconds with two stages left.
The Australian star also took out the previous stage and has five wins for the year, including the overall title at January's Tour Down Under.
His latest success came after last month's stunning time trial success in stage one at the Tour de France.
That meant he became only the seventh Australian to wear the yellow jersey at the Tour, an honour he held for one stage.
"I might have won, but I really didn't feel all that good out there," Dennis said.
"That was a harder effort than yesterday, but it was again amazing to ride through all those fans who came out to watch on the climb."
Dennis was referring to Moonstone Rd, where he made his winning move in Thursday's road stage.
