Aussie FIFA member Dodd joins ICAS panel

Australia's Moya Dodd, a FIFA executive committee member, has been appointed to the International Council of Arbitration for Sport's oversight panel.

FIFA executive committee member Moya Dodd of Australia has replaced new International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Thomas Bach on the Court of Arbitration for Sport's oversight panel.

The court says Dodd, a former Australian national team player, is the fifth woman on the 20-member International Council of Arbitration for Sport (ICAS).

Dodd was appointed in May to serve a one-year term on the ruling board of soccer's world governing body FIFA.

Bach left ICAS in September after being elected IOC president.

The president of ICAS is Australian John Coates, who also serves as IOC vice-president.
