Aussie golfers earn conditional cards

Stacey Keating from Victoria and Kristie Smith from WA have earned conditional cards for the US LPGA Tour.

Australian golfers Stacey Keating and Kristie Smith have earned conditional cards for the US LPGA Tour after finishing tied 38th at the qualifying school.

Victorian Keating shot a closing two-under-par 70 to finish at one-under 359 in the 90-hole final stage at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida.

She was joined by WA's Smith who shot a 72.

The pair were a distant 28 strokes behind the tour school winner, American Jaye Marie Green, who played brilliantly all week with rounds of 62, 68, 66, 67, 68 to be 29-under and a whopping 10 shots clear of second-placed Me Rim Lee of South Korea.

The two leading Australians were also five shots outside the top 20 plus ties who got full tour cards.

NSW's Frances Bondad missed by one shot for a conditional card while Breanna Elliott and Rebecca Artis were further back tied 60th and tied 65th respectively.
