Casey Dellacqua is eyeing a second grand slam crown at Roland Garros after storming into the French Open women's doubles final.

Dellacqua and Kazakh partner Yaroslava Shvedova upset Russian second seeds Ekaterina Makarova and Elina Vesnina 6-3 6-2 in Friday's semi-finals in Paris.

The 12th seeds will take on women's singles finalist Lucie Safarova and the Czech's American partner Bethanie Mattek-Sands in Sunday's championship match.

Dellacqua won the mixed doubles in 2011 with American Scott Lipsky, but is chasing her maiden grand slam women's doubles title after losing three finals with fellow Australian Ashleigh Barty in 2013.
