Aussie Kokkinakis out of Open 13

Thanasi Kokkinakis lost to Slovenia's Blaz Kavcic 6-4 6-3 in the first round of the Open 13 in Marseille.

Australian teenager Thanasi Kokkinakis has been beaten by Slovenia's Blaz Kavcic in the first round of the Open 13 in Marseille.

Kavcic claimed a 6-4 6-2 victory over his 17-year-old Australian wildcard opponent on Monday night and will now take on top seed Richard Gasquet.
