Aussie Lee second in golf's China Masters

Australia's Jun Seok Lee has finished second in the OneAsia tour's Nanshan China Masters, four shots behind Chinese teenager Li Haotong.

Australia's Jun Seok Lee finished second in the OneAsia tour's Nanshan China Masters on Sunday, four shots behind China's Li Haotong.

Nineteen-year-old Li became the youngest winner of an Asia-Pacific OneAsia tournament, taking the Nanshan China Masters by shooting a final round one-under-par 70.

"I think I am too young to win a Masters event," Li joked.

He finished the tournament at nine-under-par, taking home $US180,000 ($A194,752) of the $US1 million ($A1.08 million) purse.

Winds gusting up to 64 kilometres an hour added to the challenge on the final day.

"I could not stand sometimes when I was putting as the wind was so strong. I never played in wind like this," Li said.

Australian Lee shot a final-round 69 at the par-71 Nanshan International Golf Club to take second place while Todd Baek of Korea posted a 74 for third.
