Aussie men into water polo semis

Australia's men will play Serbia in the World League water polo semi-finals while the other semi features Montenegro and China.

Australia's men's water polo players are into the semi-finals of the FINA World League Super Final in Dubai after a 14-7 victory over Brazil.

The Sharks relied on their fitness, out-swimming the Brazilians to create an advantage in offence.

Nine Australians contributed to the scoring while goalkeeper James Clarke was in fine form, saving all but one of Brazil's shooting attempts in the second half.

Jarrod Gilchrist and Aaron Younger both scored trebles.

The Sharks will play a semi-final against Serbia who accounted for Canada 16-11.

The other semi-final on Saturday features Montenegro against China.
